Artist Bio

I am a contemporary Toronto-based artist. My work is inspired by my love for '80s and '90s cartoon and comic book art and has been influenced by pop art. My process involves taking my original character sketches, adding colours, manipulating perspective, and adding layers to create a bold visual experience.

My work contrasts playful characters and colours with troubled facial expressions.

My work is easily identified by my use of bold outlines, bright and often contrasting colours. My goal is to create art that stands out and grabs the viewer’s attention; something that is an elevated version of the original medium but still holds on to the feeling that inspired it.
